Re: Sharp Mebius PC-NJ70a
Ah how funny - just yesterday i got it out again and played a bit with it. Actually i wanna try programming my own tools for the touchpad display. Curiosity never ends... I can't promise I'll keep it like indefinitely. At the moment we're saving for a new family car and I already started selling stu...

Raon everun drawbacks
OK i try to collect drawbacks for every UMPC, so this time it's about the Raon everun. - Screen cables. Well most Raon everun i have had started getting weird lines that run through the screen, typical sign of a bad contact of the video cable. If this would have happened sometimes then maybe bad luc...

Drawbacks of the Wibrain
Aight, so UMPC is perfect, so here are some flaws i collected for the Wibrain: - It's a brick! Not brick as in "Doesn't work", but like a brick in your hand. It's just too thick and too long to fit in any real pocket unless you wear baggy pants with these huge military style pockets. Could...

Sony UX series
What do you think of the UX series? What i found worst about these was the bulky design adn the terrible keyboard. Besides that they are pretty neat i think.

Flaws of the Sharp Willcom D4
OK, so i collected the flaws that bothered me over the years. - Rubber coating. The rubber coating was sure a nice idea. When the D4 was new that felt pretty nice. Too bad it turned into a sticky goo after the years. Good news is that you CAN get it off. I did with loads of gasoline and an old cloth...

Flaws of the F-07C
Well while being the smallest UMPC ever and the smallest Windows 7 (8, 10... OSX) laptop ever it is not perfect. So let's sum up the flaws i found: 1. Battery life. Battery life is terrible. If you really work and play then an hour is already good. If you get like 90 minutes you probably already did...

Viliv N5 problems
So far I'd say the only problem i noticed is the rather weak plastic body. Especially around the hinges you'll get some cracks if you use it a lot or not carefully enough. I wish there was a custom aluminium body or so. Some units were reported to have some "freezing" problem which means t...

Touch2Pad - useful tool to turn touchscreen into touchpad
OK it isn't 100% perfect, but if you're using an older windows or wanna do some gaming then this might be helpful.
Effectively it turns the touchscreen into a touchpad.
Enjoy!
